Currently residing in Ojai, CA, Kari spent the first part of her life in Virginia followed by ten years in Georgia. She graduated with a degree in Anthropology along with secondary degrees in Philosophy and Religion and Spanish. Time between was spent traveling through parts of Europe, South America, Central America, and the South Pacific. After living abroad she returned to school for art, focusing on photography and 3D design. She also spent those years working as a blacksmith in both Georgia and California. Having shifted her primary focus to photography her work may be seen in various publications and print campaigns including The New York Times, Spa Magazine, Ventana Magazine, Hyde Clothing, Edible LA and Edible Ojai.
